To ensure that every person within our area of accountability will receive the gospel message of Jesus Christ, encouraging them to become a partner within a local church; which will help them develop their gifting for effective service to God.

Our Mission

Visiting local Schools

We have the privilege of attending both primary schools (Mapplewell and Wellgate) by taking assemblies on a regular basis. We also have the opportunity to take lessons bringing a Christian perspective to every day life. We enjoy good working relationships with both schools. Julie Pollard is Vice Chair of Governors at Wellgate Primary School.

Ministry into Residential Home

G.L.E.A.N. is our ministry into the Residential Care Homes. We take time to share the love of God through a song, a Christian narrative or just reminiscing. It is a time when we give and receive the joy of sharing ourselves. A time to brighten up the day up and talk about Jesus. If you would like to know more or join in the fun then please make contact with Norma Senior who heads up this ministry for us.

Outreach to local business'

There are two industrial parks in our village. David makes regular calls at the business’ to see if we can help, pray or be a listening ear. We also have the opportunity of joining with other volunteer groups in our area from litter picking to canvassing. Support is given to the shops in our community through personal contact, encouragement hoping to meet practical needs.

TOTS & CO.

Our toddler group runs during school terms:

9:15-11:30 on a Tuesday morning
9:15 Time to refresh after the morning rush with a cuppa
10:00 Story & Song time
10:15 Snack time Donations for refreshments are gratefully received.

We have an upper limit of 10 toddlers. Sorry if we are full when you call, please feel free to put your name on the waiting list and we will make contact with you.
